Silver Range Malbec 2009 $9.72 bottle $110.16 case 12x750ml
100% Malbec from Mendoza, Argentina. Layers of blackberries, blueberries and wild plums on the nose followed by hints of mocha and spice. Dark, rich and extracted flavors on the palate showing concentrations of black fruit, spice, and herbs. This wine is perfect for your everyday consumption and should pair well with rich, spicy meat dishes, grilled meats and vegetables, stews, pasta and mature cheeses.
Meadowkaas $8.58 lb
Meadowkaas is made only in the spring with the milk of grass fed Dutch Freisan-Holstein cows. The cheese represents the first grazing of the new spring grasses and is only available for 3 months out of the year. This pale yellow cheese is sweet and fresh in flavor with a hint of salt and extremely creamy texture making it a perfect cheese to enjoy with fresh fruits. It is aged only 4 weeks so the beauty of its luscious flavor can be enjoyed.
Cubano Sandwich
We marinate and slow-roast a pork loin, slice it thin and pile it onto a buttered, crispy baguette spread with a creamy mustard. Ham, melted Swiss Cheese and pickles top it all off.

Lagunitas Maximus
$2.42 12 oz bottle
Lagunitas Maximus is ridiculously good. Far too many brewers are content to put an obscene amount of hops into a generic pale ale, slap a DIPA label on it and wait for the hopheads to come running. Maximus opens up with a big sweet caramel malt flavor that gives way to a traditional West Coast prickly citrus bitterness. The pine/lemon/grapefruit of the hops somehow manage to completely overpower the malt on the back end, leaving the finish astonishingly dry. The interaction between the malt and hops is what’s amazing here. It’s not so much a matter of balance as it is a fluid transition of dominant flavors ending with a long lasting aftertaste of bitterness that leaves you craving another pint. Highly recommended.
